Breeding demands
for good knowledge about both dogs and humans. I have an intense interest
for breeding and how to choose for best result concerning both structure and
mentallity. I also really enjoy taking care of the pups and support their
first weeks to give them a good start.
Puppy buyers
As a breeder you also need to work hard to find the right home for each pup,
a home where the individual pup can develop its traits and have a good life.
For me it is important to find buyers with a true interest for dogs, and who
are also willing to put time and energy on taking good care of all needs the
dog will have.
THE PUPPIES
Breeding in home environment
All pups are raised in our home and I put great efforts in giving them as
much positive experience as possible in different ways. I bellieve it will
make it easier for the pup and the buyer the day the pups move to their new
homes. .
Socialization
I let the pups be used to both children and adults in a controlled way. I
also take them out for car rides and for dealing with new environments
before they leave us.
Food and health
Food is an important part of the first period of a dogs life. To be sure
each pup get enough food I let them eat from an individual bowl already from
the beginning. In that way we also avoid fights and "arguments".
Naturally I follow the guide lines and
restrictions that are given from the Swedish Kennel Club when it comes to ID
and registrations. All pups are eye checked, dewormed and up to date with
their shots when they leave us. Before they leave they also get a health
clearence from a vet.
Later on..
After many years of breeding I have an extended net of contacts. Puppy
buyers are always invited to stay in touch for questions or advices. I also
appreciate the contacts a lot since it is a possibility to follow the dogs
over time and see them develop. A natural way to meet is when we gather the
litters between 12 and 18 month to have their mental profiles (MH) done.
Last years we have mental profiled each litter and we try to have the whole
litter profiled at the same time if possible.
Replacement
If a dog of any reason needs to have a new home I try to help out the
best I can to find a new suitable home for the dog.
